The JLT Performance 3012P-B is a passenger side oil separator engineered for 2007-2014 Ford Mustang GT500 models. This V3.0 design boasts an increased 3oz capacity, significantly larger than previous versions, to effectively collect oil vapors and contaminants from the crankcase pressure. Its construction is from solid billet aluminum, offering a robust and durable build with a sleek black anodized finish for an OEM look. It utilizes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap oil, which then grows in size as it passes through a 1/2" thick aluminum honeycomb filter, eventually becoming heavy enough to fall into the easily removable bottom collection tank. This process allows clean air to pass through to the intake, preventing oil from diluting fuel and lowering octane levels, which is especially beneficial for forced-inducted engines. The design also allows for the retention of the stock hose, making it easy to return to stock configuration if needed. This passenger side unit is recommended if only one separator is to be installed, as most of the oil originates from this side. Important Note: This product is NOT legal for installation on vehicles required to meet CARB standards and/or registered in California and other states following CARB standards, including NY and ME. It is not for legal sale or use in these states.
