The Cobb Stainless Steel Downpipe is engineered as a direct replacement for the Ford Focus ST Ecoboost 2.0L models from 2013-2018. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, this downpipe features a high-flow 300-cell GESI catalytic converter designed to improve exhaust flow. Installation is facilitated by a CNC-machined V-band flange and a 4-inch flex section, ensuring an OEM-like fitment at the turbocharger. The design incorporates adjustability at the lower downpipe mount through slotted attachment points, allowing for a custom fit and reducing strain on rubber isolators for enhanced long-term reliability. Furthermore, a cast stainless 3-inch flange replaces traditional laser-cut plates, offering greater rigidity to prevent warping and potential exhaust leaks during installation and operation under extreme heat. A multi-layer steel gasket ensures a leak-free seal with the cat-back exhaust system. This downpipe provides a free-flowing exhaust outlet, aiming to reduce turbo back pressure and increase turbo efficiency, positioning it as a key component for achieving Stage 3 power levels. COBB Tuning offers off-the-shelf Stage 3 maps for the Focus ST Accessport to complement this upgrade. IMPORTANT: This product is supplied with all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware and DOES NOT require welding.
