304 Stainless Steel LS Swap Shorty Headers

The Speed Engineering LS swap shorty headers are manufactured from 304 stainless steel, providing a balance of quality, performance, and affordability. Each header is mandrel bent, tig welded, and features a natural stainless steel finish. Key features include 1 3/4" primaries, a 3" collector with V-Band construction and merge spikes for improved flow, and port-matched flanges. The CNC machined flanges ensure precise fitment. These headers are designed to work with 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, and LSA engines. Standard graphite manifold gaskets are included. Installation notes indicate that these headers are for LS series engine swaps only and will not work on standard SBC or BBC engines. Speed Engineering spark plug wires, or a similar design, will be necessary for proper clearance. If using a larger 4L80E or older Turbo 350/400 transmission, the bellhousing ears may require trimming for clearance, as the headers are tucked in tightly to accommodate older frame designs. It is also noted that these headers will not work on 4x4 applications, and the collector might need modification if an aftermarket oil pan is used.
