Overview

The RealEV stainless steel running boards are a set of side steps engineered specifically for the Rivian R1S. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish, these steps feature hand TIG-welded seams for structural integrity.

The steps utilize Real-Grip™ surface technology, which incorporates extruded holes to maximize traction and allow for water drainage. They are designed to mount using existing factory points, requiring no drilling during the 90 to 120-minute installation process.

The RealEV stainless steel running boards are a set of side steps engineered specifically for the Rivian R1S. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish, these steps feature hand TIG-welded seams for enhanced durability against rust and corrosion. The streamlined profile integrates into the vehicle's design while closed, providing a functional platform for easier entry and exit when the doors are opened. The steps utilize proprietary Real-Grip™ surface technology, which incorporates extruded holes to ensure maximum grip while simultaneously allowing for rapid water drainage. These boards are custom-designed for 2022-2025+ Gen 1 and Gen 2 Rivian R1S SUV models. Installation requires 90 to 120 minutes and involves mounting to existing factory points; no drilling is required. Note that installation requires trimming the lower plastic trim panels to accommodate the mounting brackets. It is recommended to have a T55 Torx Plus bit available for the hardware, as this is necessary for a successful install. Please ensure you select the correct fitment, as these are specifically for the R1S model and not for the R1T.
