The Berk Technology BT1401-RES is a set of resonated test pipes designed for VQ35DE engines. These pipes are constructed from 304 stainless steel with 60mm piping and include a mechanical CEL fix. They come with leak-free soft crush graphite collector gaskets.

The Berk Technology Resonated Test Pipes, part number BT1401-RES, are engineered for VQ35DE-equipped Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 models, including RWD and AWD variants. These highly regarded test pipes feature dual 60mm piping constructed from full 304 stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. Integrated in-line Sebring resonators are incorporated to mitigate the aggressive "rasp" often associated with test pipes, providing a more refined exhaust note. Included with this kit are the same leak-free soft crush graphite collector gaskets used in Berk's High-Flow Cat (HFC) systems, ensuring a secure seal. A mechanical Check Engine Light (CEL) fix is also integrated into the design to prevent dashboard warnings. These test pipes are sold as a pair, with quantity 1 providing both sides. Compatibility includes a wide range of VQ35DE engines from 2003 through 2006 for the Nissan 350Z (Coupe, Convertible Roadster) and 2003 through 2006 for the Infiniti G35 (Coupe, Sedan). Note that some 2005 models with the "RevUp" engine may have specific manual transmission requirements. Installation may require careful attention, as one reviewer noted a slight blockage issue with an O2 port on the left flange that needed a bung removed. While they significantly reduce drone and rasp, one user reported they still sit a bit lower under the car. The product comes with a Prop 65 Hazardous Material Warning.
