Overview

The JE Pistons 305 Race Saver is a high-strength, lightweight piston designed for performance engines. It features a specialized forging design that places a larger skirt on the major thrust side for increased durability while a smaller skirt on the minor thrust side reduces friction. This piston set is constructed from 2618 forged aluminum and includes features such as vertical gas ports, accumulator grooves, double pin Oilers, and contact reduction grooves. The piston rings are sized at 1.2mm, 1.2mm, and 2.5mm, and it utilizes a 0.927-inch wrist pin which is included along with carbon steel wire locks. This piston kit is designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines with a 3.786-inch bore.
