The Brosol/Solex 31 PICT-3 carburetor is designed as a direct replacement for various Volkswagen vehicles. It is suitable for 1968-1970 models originally equipped with the "square bowl" 30 PICT-2 or 30 PICT-3 carburetors. Additionally, it can be used with the included spacer to replace the 34 PICT-3 on later dual-port models. This carburetor features a dual-arm design and a 12-volt electric choke. Its internal specifications include a Main Jet of 120, Idle Jet of 50, Air Correction Jet of 120, Pump Jet of 60, and a Needle Valve of 150. It is compatible with Type 1 and Type 2 air-cooled engines commonly found in VW Beetle, Bus, and Karmann Ghia models. It is noted as a replacement for the H30/31 PICT carburetor and is specifically mentioned as a direct replacement for the original Solex "Round Bowl" carburetor.
