310mm Front Big Brake Kit

The Wilwood 310mm Front Big Brake Kit is a significant performance enhancement for the BMW E30 318 and 325 models, designed to improve braking power and thermal capacity. This kit utilizes Wilwood's forged aluminum 6-piston Dynapro calipers, paired with two-piece rotors measuring 310mm in diameter and 20mm in thickness, featuring an aluminum center hat. This big brake kit is engineered for E30 vehicles equipped with 16-inch or larger wheels. The package includes everything needed for installation: calipers, rotors, brake pads (with selectable options for Standard BP-10, Street Performance BP-20, or Race BP-40), mounting brackets, necessary hardware, and stainless steel braided hoses. Beyond enhanced stopping power, the kit contributes to reducing unsprung weight, a crucial factor in improving overall vehicle dynamics and handling. A key design consideration of the Dynapro caliper is its reduced width on the outboard side compared to many other calipers. This specific design significantly alleviates potential wheel fitment problems, requiring only 1.75 inches of clearance from the rotor face to the back of the wheel spokes. This feature broadens the range of wheels that can accommodate the kit. Additionally, customers have the option to select caliper color (Black or Red Powdercoat) and rotor type (Slotted Only or Drilled & Slotted). An upgraded 25.4mm brake master cylinder is also available as an add-on. Please note that due to these kits being assembled at the facility, there is an estimated handling time of 5-8 weeks, which can vary based on workload and component availability.
