Its innovative Slimline caliper design, based on OEM single-side piston caliper thickness, ensures compatibility with most factory wheels or those with limited caliper clearance. This kit features 330mm two-piece slotted rotors, which are significantly lighter than OEM equivalents, and 3-piston calipers that maintain a similar aesthetic to Ksport's multi-piston offerings. Constructed with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, this big brake kit bolts directly to OEM caliper bracket locations, simplifying installation. It comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC Ceramic compound, offering optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions while reducing dust and noise by over 50% compared to race pads. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, the kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This specific kit is designed for the 2011-2014 Scion iQ. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, and customers should allow approximately 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.
