330mm Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit (BKVW040-435CO) is an advanced braking solution for the Volkswagen MK4 Golf 1.8T, featuring a 330mm (13-inch) rotor size and a 32mm rotor thickness. A single 4-piston caliper handles both the primary foot brake and the handbrake, with two pistons dedicated to each function, operating independently on separate systems. Constructed for performance and durability, the Dualcomp kit utilizes a lightweight forged one-piece caliper made from aerospace-quality aluminum. This construction eliminates weak spots, providing superior strength and resistance to fracturing, warpage, and failure. The caliper pistons are aluminum and feature heavy-duty seals to withstand high racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing corrosion. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear on both sides of the rotor, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The kit includes a two-piece rotor design for reduced weight and fade-free performance. This two-piece design also minimizes rotor warping due to heat expansion. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, and slotted rotors, advised for track-focused use as they better manage heat, dust, and gases. This Big Brake Kit is Formula Drift legal and comes with SC5 Street Pads, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. Stainless steel braided brake lines are included for improved pedal response and feel.
