The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit (BKPO100-433CO) is engineered to provide superior stopping power, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. The kit features a two-piece rotor design measuring 330mm x 32mm, paired with a robust 4-piston caliper. The calipers are precision-crafted from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, offering exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. This one-piece forged construction eliminates weak spots common in cast or welded calipers, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure over time. The aluminum pistons are equipped with heavy-duty seals to withstand high temperatures, ensuring smooth and even operation without drag. Opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. Each Procomp Big Brake system utilizes a two-piece rotor design for reduced weight and fade-free performance. The lightweight center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, decrease rotational mass, allowing for quicker stopping and improved brake response. This design also helps reduce rotor warping due to heat expansion, and the aluminum center sections act as heat sinks, dissipating heat efficiently. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions, though these are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature requirements.
