The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit (BKMD012-831SO) is engineered to provide superior stopping power, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. This kit is a sophisticated, bolt-on upgrade that enhances brake performance significantly. The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring light weight, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. They feature an opposed-piston design for consistent brake pad wear and are equipped with aluminum pistons, heavy-duty seals, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The lightweight center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for improved responsiveness. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. The kit also comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes everything needed for a comprehensive brake upgrade, such as replacement calipers, rotors, pads, stainless-steel braided brake lines (which offer quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel), and all necessary hardware. Carbon steel caliper brackets are included to ensure proper fitment to OEM caliper locations. Customization options for caliper color and center bell upgrades are available.
