The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, engineered as a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum using a one-piece forged design. This method eliminates weak spots found in cast or welded calipers, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure over time. The aluminum pistons are protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation without drag. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear, while standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. This kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design with 330x32mm cross-drilled rotors made from lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections. This design reduces rotational mass, improves brake response, and allows the outer rotor to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping due to heat. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler than slotted rotors. Included are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. Each kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment to OEM caliper locations. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by eliminating expansion under pressure.
