It features a spring-controlled, pressure-regulated mechanism for engine overpressure protection and unrestricted exhaust flow when disengaged. The patented 90-degree non-contacting butterfly valve maximizes backpressure and prevents seizing. Components are treated with an Arcor nitride coating for enhanced wear, corrosion resistance, strength, and lubricity. Precision-machined surfaces eliminate the need for gaskets.
