34 ICT Twin Carburetor Kit

The Weber Twin 34 ICT Carburetor Kit provides a comprehensive solution for enhancing the performance of 1300-1600cc twin-port engines in select Volkswagen models. This kit is suitable for both stock configurations and engines with mild performance upgrades. The kit includes two 34mm ICT Weber carburetors, the necessary manifolds, air filter assemblies, linkage, fuel lines, and all required hardware for installation. It is designed without an electric choke, simplifying the setup. The carburetors come pre-fitted with 130 main jets, 55 idle jets, 160 air correctors, and 1.75 needles. For optimal performance, professional setup on a rolling road is recommended after installation. To improve low-end running and idle, adding a 1/2" balance pipe between the inlet manifolds is suggested. For 1641cc engines, the kit recommends upgrading to 145 main jets and suggests the purchase of a Balance Pipe and Jet Install Kit (AC129400) for the best possible performance. This kit is designed for Type I and Type II Level 2 engines from 1967 onwards, specifically the 1600 Dual Port. This kit is compatible with Volkswagen Beetle (1971-1979), T2 Bus (1971-1979), Karmann Ghia (1971-1974), and Beetle Cabrio (1971-1979). It is important to note that for Squarebacks or Type 3s with pancake-style engines, part #K1311 is recommended instead.
