The Dynatrac ProRock 44™ front axle is a direct replacement housing for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK front axles, designed to replace the factory Dana 44 and address common failure points when larger tires are installed and the vehicle is used for off-road driving. It offers increased strength and ground clearance, featuring a patented ProRock shape, strong end forgings made in the USA, a rock-proof nodular-iron Dynatrac differential cover, heavy-duty 3.0-inch diameter axle tubes with 1/2-inch wall thickness (DOM tubing), pre-installed new upper suspension bushings, Dynatrac HD Rebuildable Balljoints, and laser-cut suspension brackets that are thicker and stronger than factory. It retains the Next-Gen JK 44 ring and pinion for enhanced strength and is entirely manufactured in the USA, backed by an exclusive Dynatrac no-fault, 12-month and unlimited-mileage warranty. The axle can be configured as a housing (reusing the factory electric locker for Rubicon models) or a completely assembled unit with a new differential or locker, including a ring-and-pinion gearset, gear setup and install kit, and yoke. Knuckles and brakes from the factory axle will need to be added. The price also includes a choice of Dynatrac Track Bar Bracket, and an Unlimited housing option with more caster for taller suspension lifts.
