Overview

The Cobb Tuning High Flow Fuel Pump is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory in-tank fuel pump. It provides increased fuel delivery capacity for flex fuel, high injector duty cycle, and high-power builds where the factory pump's flow rate becomes a limiting factor.

The fuel pump's function is to deliver sufficient fuel volume at the required pressure to keep up with injector demand. Ethanol requires approximately 30-40% more fuel volume than gasoline, making a high-flow pump essential for maintaining adequate fuel supply at high power levels and preventing lean conditions.

The COBB Tuning High Flow Fuel Pump is engineered for Subaru models from 2005-2009 Legacy GT, 2008-2014 Impreza WRX/STI, and 2008-2021 WRX/STI. This pump boasts a flow rate of 340 lph at 40 PSI, making it suitable for high-demand applications and Flex Fuel setups. It has been tested and confirmed to work reliably with ethanol fuels up to E100, methanol fuels up to M100, and all types of gasoline. Its compact, short body design, measuring 65mm in length, allows for easy installation as a direct replacement for the factory fuel pump, even in fuel tanks with tight tolerances. This high-flow fuel pump is a critical component for various COBB Tuning power packages, including their NexGen Stage 2 and Flex Fuel Power Packages. It is emissions-legal for use in all 50 states, holding California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order D-660-105. The pump includes a wiring harness, pre-filter, and O-rings for installation.
