The AEM 50-1220 is a high-flow in-tank fuel pump designed for high-performance naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles. It is tested and compatible with ethanol fuels up to E100, methanol fuels up to M100, and all types of gasoline.

This fuel pump features a compact 39mm diameter and a 65mm length body, making it suitable for universal applications with tight fuel tank tolerances. It includes a wiring harness, pre-filter, and O-rings, and is individually tested to flow 340 lph at 40 PSI.

The AEM 50-1220 is a high-flow, in-tank fuel pump engineered for demanding EFI applications, supporting high-performance naturally aspirated and forced induction vehicles. Its robust internal construction is specifically designed to handle the low lubricity of ethanol and methanol fuels, with compatibility confirmed for ethanol up to E100 and methanol up to M100, as well as all types of gasoline. This fuel pump boasts a compact 39mm diameter and a 65mm length, making it an ideal universal fit for fuel tanks with limited space. The offset inlet design is incorporated to simplify installation. Each pump undergoes individual testing to ensure it flows 340 liters per hour (lph) at 40 PSI, and is rated to support over 1,000 horsepower at 43 PSI. Installation notes indicate that while the physical size may be similar to OEM fuel pumps, verification of your vehicle's specific fuel pump sizing is crucial before purchase. The included universal pre-filter may not fit all vehicle applications, and it is recommended to consult OEM specifications for filter replacement. Furthermore, the factory fuel pump wiring might not be adequate for the current draw of this high-flow pump, necessitating a review of the electrical requirements in the installation instructions for proper wiring. AEM does not approve of tank modifications to accommodate this fuel pump, and such alterations would void performance and operation guarantees.
