The BluePrint Engines 347 c.i. This unit produces a robust 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, suitable for both street performance and track use, while maintaining desirable throttle response and street manners. It features a high-strength cast iron block with increased deck thickness and strength webbing, priority main oiling, a 4.000" bore, 4-bolt main, a 1-piece rear main seal, and an improved water jacket design. The rotating assembly includes a cast crankshaft with a 3.400" stroke, forged 5.400" connecting rods, forged pistons with a 9cc dish, and is 28oz externally balanced front and rear. The cylinder heads are BluePrint Aluminum Heads (HP9009) with 60cc chambers, 2.02" intake valves, 1.60" exhaust valves, and 190cc intake/60cc exhaust runners. The camshaft is a hydraulic roller with .543" intake lift and .554" exhaust lift, and 218° intake duration / 226° exhaust duration @ .050" lift with a 112° LSA. This long block comes pre-assembled with essential components, including a black front sump oil pan (BPP302FSPAN), BluePrint logo'd valve covers (BPP9237), a BluePrint timing cover (BPP302351TC), and a BluePrint dipstick (BPP6920). This engine requires 91+ octane fuel. It is externally balanced with 28oz weight for both the front and rear, and BluePrint Engines recommends a 1800-2200 RPM stall converter and specific break-in procedures detailed in their installation manual.
