The Ford Performance D347SR7 engine is a 347 cubic inch, 415 HP sealed racing engine with lightweight 7MM valves, designed for competition or off-highway use only. It incorporates Ford Performance testing and racer feedback for extended high-RPM performance. Machining improvements minimize power gains from blueprinting. This internally balanced engine requires a zero-balance flywheel. Depending on the application, a different timing cover, water pump, performance oil pan, and pickup may be required. A standard rotation water pump is installed. Firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 (5.0L HO and 351W order). Includes hardened steel lifter pushrod cups and a block honed with deck plates.
