The Chevrolet Performance 350 C.I. Big Block Deluxe Turn-Key Crate Engine offers a complete, ready-to-install solution for power upgrades. This Gen I Small-Block V8 engine boasts a 350 cubic inch displacement and is engineered for performance, delivering 330 horsepower and 381 ft-lbs. of torque. Its robust construction includes a cast-iron block with 4-bolt main caps, a forged steel crankshaft, and durable powdered metal steel connecting rods, topped with cast aluminum pistons. Key components contributing to its performance include high-flow Vortec iron cylinder heads with 64cc chambers and a hydraulic flat-tappet camshaft featuring .435" intake lift and .460" exhaust lift. The engine comes with a dual-plane intake manifold, a 4-barrel carburetor, and a pre-installed distributor, making it a true turn-key package. It also includes a starter and a front accessory kit with a long-style cast iron water pump. Installation considerations include the necessity of some assembly and minor engine tuning. The engine comes with a 12.750" externally balanced flexplate for automatic transmissions; an externally balanced flywheel is required for manual transmissions. It features a right-side oil dipstick and requires a fuel line from the fuel pump to the carburetor, though the fuel pump pressure is pre-set, eliminating the need for a regulator.
