The Chevrolet Performance 350 C.I. Turn-Key Crate Engine (19433034) is a pre-assembled, ready-to-install powerplant designed for enhanced performance. This Small-Block Gen I V8 engine boasts a 350 cubic inch displacement and is factory-equipped with an aluminum dual-plane intake manifold, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and HEI distributor, all pre-installed for a true "turn-key" experience. It delivers 357 horsepower and over 400 ft-lbs of torque, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Key internal components include a robust cast-iron block with 4-bolt main caps for increased durability, a forged steel crankshaft, and cast aluminum pistons. The camshaft is a hydraulic roller type with .473" intake/.473" exhaust lift and 215° intake/223° exhaust duration at .050". The cast iron cylinder heads feature 64cc chambers and 1.940" intake/1.550" exhaust valves, contributing to a 9.0:1 compression ratio. This crate engine comes externally balanced with a 153-tooth automatic transmission flexplate; an externally balanced flywheel is required for manual transmissions. While a Front-End Accessory Drive is included, it is not installed for shipment. It requires a fuel supply line from the fuel pump to the carburetor. Important notes for installation include the mandatory use of a distributor with a melonized steel gear when paired with long-blocks or partial engines utilizing steel camshafts to prevent engine damage. This engine is not intended for marine applications.
