Description
This engine is manufactured to factory specifications using tighter machining tolerances and higher quality components than the original. It features a high-strength cast iron block with a 4-bolt main, 4.000" bore, and a 1-piece rear main seal. The rotating assembly includes a cast crankshaft with a 3.480" stroke, forged 5.700" connecting rods, and OEM spec pistons. The engine is internally balanced at the front and externally balanced at the rear. It comes equipped with perimeter bolt iron cylinder heads, a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, new valve covers, a rear sump oil pan, a timing cover, and a harmonic balancer. This engine is compatible with OEM GM TBI and ECU, and approved for 87 octane fuel.
