Description

The JE Pistons 177849R is a set of forged pistons designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines with a 4.040-inch bore. These pistons are constructed from 2618 forged aluminum for durability and performance, suitable for racing and high-demand applications.

Features include precision CNC-machined .043, .043, 3mm back cut ring grooves, a flat top piston type, and include double pin oilers. The set also comes with a 103g pin, wire locks, contact reduction grooves, an accumulator groove, and lateral gas ports. Compression ratios vary based on cylinder head volume: 11.6:1 for 58cc, 10.8:1 for 64cc, and 9.4:1 for 76cc heads.
