350ml Oil Catch Can with Dipstick and Drain

During everyday engine operation, blow-by gases and oil vapor from the engine's rotating assembly pass through the PCV valve and are routed into the intake for combustion. However, some of this oil mist and other contaminants can adhere to the backside of the hot intake valves, forming a crust that significantly reduces performance over time. This is a particular issue for the 2.0L motor as there is no fuel passing over the valves to keep them clean, making the JBR Oil Catch Can a necessity for the Ford Focus ST. The JBR Oil Catch Can works by creating a pressure drop as PCV gases enter, causing the oil to fall out of suspension. This check valve is oil, fuel, and chemical resistant, constructed from brass with a low crack pressure and properly sized for optimal flow. It is recommended for higher boosting cars or those seeking the best possible performance, as the OEM PCV valve can struggle to close completely under boost, leading to increased crankcase pressure and turbo spool times.
