The Paragon Performance 2-piece brake rotor is a performance-oriented replacement designed for the front of the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG (X156). The friction rings are constructed from CM-250 high-carbon alloy cast iron, which offers superior thermal characteristics and durability. The hats are precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum and finished with a black hard-anodized coating for improved wear and corrosion resistance. Featuring 48 directional ventilation vanes, these rotors are designed to actively pull cool air through the assembly to improve heat dissipation and reduce cracking under heavy usage. The slotted surface pattern ensures consistent pad cleaning by clearing away gases and debris, which improves brake consistency in both dry and wet conditions. This setup saves approximately 5.2 lbs per rotor compared to the OEM components, helping to reduce unsprung mass. Installation is a direct bolt-on process that maintains compatibility with the factory ABS and brake system, including factory brake bias. The rotors are compatible with OEM brake pads or aftermarket pads of the same depth. Please note that these assemblies are specific to the GLA 45 AMG (X156) and are not compatible with stock vehicles using different rotor specifications.
