The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface during use. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight design, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and weighing just over 7lbs each. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit includes four brake pads per caliper for optimal performance. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stress from warping the disc. Rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce noise and expel gas and debris quickly. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, constructed from NAOC ceramic material for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise. For more extreme track use, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available as an upgrade. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal feel and response. Caliper brackets are CNC machined carbon steel to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to the OEM caliper location. Ksport offers a wide array of caliper colors and optional center bell upgrades, with some finishes incurring additional charges.
