The calipers are constructed from a one-piece forged billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring light weight, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are used for better heat resistance and to prevent corrosion, while an opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. This kit features two-piece rotors measuring 356mm x 32mm, designed for lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor to expand and contract independently, reducing warping. Lightweight center sections crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum lower rotational mass for improved stopping response. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions.
