The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle, featuring a 356mm (14-inch) rotor diameter and 32mm rotor width. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is exceptionally lightweight and incorporates advanced features such as larger pistons, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and titanium brake pad retainer clips for enhanced performance and durability. The braking system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also combats thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to minimize braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler running properties, and slotted rotors, better suited for track-focused applications. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, offering optimal braking performance for street driving and occasional track use. These pads operate effectively between 194°F and 1022°F, reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, and minimize noise and rotor wear. An optional upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads, constructed from carbon metallic material, is available for extreme track conditions, though they are not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperature range (482°F – 1472°F). D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal feel and response by preventing line expansion under pressure. The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is made to order and comes with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects. It is compatible with the Mercedes-Benz C219 CLS Class (2006-2011) CLS 500 with the M113 5.0L engine.
