The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated, bolt-on solution to significantly upgrade your Volkswagen New Beetle's braking performance. It features a 356mm x 32mm rotor size and includes all necessary components: replacement calipers, rotors, pads, stainless-steel braided brake lines, and related hardware for a comprehensive upgrade. Constructed with performance and durability in mind, the Procomp calipers are forged from a one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum. This construction method ensures exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion, eliminating weak spots common in cast or welded designs. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons for improved heat resistance and are equipped with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad wear and grip on both sides of the rotor. This kit features two-piece rotors, which are approximately 50% lighter than OEM one-piece rotors. The rotors are crafted with lightweight center sections made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker response and easier stopping. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, greatly reducing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade option to RCI Race Pads is available for those who demand maximum stopping power under extreme track conditions. Customization options are available to tailor the kit to your preferences. Calipers come standard in various painted colors, with upgrades available for premium high-polish finishes like Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors. Additional upgrades for the center bell, such as Titanium or Twin Color Anodized options, further personalize the system.
