The Eagle Specialty Products EAGB15402E040 is a balanced street performance rotating assembly kit designed to provide a perfect balance of performance, reliability, and affordability for Chev SB engines. This assembly is specifically configured for applications with a 2-piece rear main seal, a 4.040" bore, and a 3.480" stroke, yielding a total displacement of 357 cubic inches. Key components include a robust Eagle cast steel crankshaft and cast aluminum pistons with a flat top dome and -7cc volume, designed to achieve a compression ratio of 10.5:1 with 58cc heads, 9.8:1 with 64cc heads, and 8.7:1 with 76cc heads. The kit also features 5.700" Eagle SIR 5140 steel I-beam connecting rods with press-fit pins and pre-gapped moly rings. King rod and main bearings are included for durability and smooth operation. This rotating assembly is internally balanced, ensuring reduced vibration and smoother engine operation. Please note that a flexplate and harmonic balancer are not included in this kit. For optimal performance and longevity, ensure all components are installed correctly according to manufacturer specifications.
