The Spelab 36-inch tall cat-style exhaust stack is engineered to give diesel pickup trucks a commanding presence both on and off the road. This exhaust stack is crafted from durable 201 stainless steel and features a distinctive angled top, often referred to as a 'cat-eye' design, which effectively prevents rain and snow from entering the exhaust system while contributing to a classic stack aesthetic. The stack includes a four-hole mounting base and a hole saw, simplifying the customization required for your truck bed. The accompanying exhaust stack install kit, made with 90° elbow-201 stainless steel and a 409 stainless steel flex pipe, is designed for universal fitment and easy connection to most factory exhaust systems with minimal modification. Heavy-duty clamps ensure secure, vibration-resistant connections. This exhaust stack provides a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone typical of performance diesel systems and can reduce heat exposure to the tailgate. However, it is important to note that permanent modification, including drilling and cutting an exit hole in the truck bed, is required for installation. Additionally, the vertical exhaust path may amplify sound in the rear cabin, and this product is designed exclusively for diesel engines; it is not compatible with gasoline-powered vehicles. It also does not work with tonneau covers unless modifications are made.
