With 36 levels of adjustable damping, users can precisely tune compression and rebound simultaneously for optimized handling and comfort. This system utilizes a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas to dissipate heat faster, allow for finer adjustments, and ensure more consistent ride quality compared to twin-tube constructions. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the coilovers feature electroplated zinc steel shock bodies to resist rust and corrosion, while mounts and many other components are made from lightweight yet strong 6061 billet aluminum. The valving is specifically matched to the spring rates to ensure superior ride quality and reliability. The front and rear often utilize OEM-style top mounts, and some applications include pillowball top mounts which can offer camber adjustment, potentially eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. Many applications also feature an adjustable lower mount, allowing for ride height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel. This specific kit, part number CAU082-KP, is designed to fit the Audi A4 B7 models from 2005-2008, including the 2.0T Quattro and 3.2L V6 engines.
