[36-Way Adjustable] Dampers

Each system features hand-assembled monotube dampers, which are 36-way adjustable to allow precise tuning of compression and rebound for various driving conditions. Constructed with quality and detail in mind, these coilovers utilize vehicle-specific valving, laser-cut upper mounts, and hand-welded lower brackets. To minimize vibrations and noise during everyday driving, RS-R incorporates urethane bushings instead of bearings. For MacPherson-style suspensions, roller bearings are used to prevent spring-twisting noises. Rubber padding is also employed to help eliminate potential noise from suspension movements. The Sports-i system for the 2016+ Mazda MX-5 Miata (ND chassis) includes front spring rates of 6.0kg/mm and rear spring rates of 3.0kg/mm. RS-R provides recommended approximate height adjustments, with a front drop of -25mm to -30mm and a rear drop of -20mm to -25mm. Maximum adjustment ranges are extensive, offering a front range of +10mm to -95mm and a rear range of +5mm to -110mm. Optional camber tuning may be possible on select vehicles by rotating the upper mount plate, providing an additional 1.5 degrees of camber. A 1-year/12,000-mile warranty is included with the purchase.
