The Ksport Asphalt Rally AR Damper System is engineered specifically for asphalt rally competition on paved surfaces. This system utilizes large 44mm pistons within its monotube design, allowing for a greater volume of shock oil. This increased capacity helps to dissipate heat effectively during prolonged use, ensuring consistent performance. With 36 levels of adjustable damping, drivers can precisely tune both compression and rebound simultaneously to meet specific handling needs and comfort preferences. The front pillow ball top mounts include camber adjustment, allowing for fine-tuning of wheel alignment directly through the coilover. Rear mounts are aluminum, offering a direct feel for enhanced driver feedback. Most applications feature adjustable lower mounts, enabling ride height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel. Constructed primarily from durable, lightweight, and rust-resistant 6061 billet aluminum, with zinc-electroplated steel shock bodies, these coilovers are built to withstand rigorous conditions. The valving is carefully matched to the installed springs, providing superior ride quality and reliability. The monotube design further enhances performance by better dissipating heat and minimizing aeration and cavitation compared to twin-tube systems. Note: This specific coilover system is designed for the 1995-1999 BMW 3 Series E36, specifically for the 318Ti model. While some applications may allow for OEM height levels, this system can also lower vehicles up to 3 inches from OEM height, which may be relevant for rally sanctioning body regulations.
