36mm Core Radiator

The Flyin' Miata crossflow radiator is engineered for superior cooling performance in 1990-2005 Miatas. Its crossflow design ensures coolant remains in the radiator core longer, maximizing heat shedding compared to stock top-to-bottom flow radiators. Manufactured in collaboration with Koyo, it features TIG welds, durable micro-welded O tubes, and NOCOLOK brazing for enhanced reliability and corrosion resistance. The Koyo Hypercore increases the radiator's effective surface area, further boosting its ability to dissipate heat. Each unit undergoes three separate leak tests, and it comes with a two-year warranty. This radiator offers a 36mm (1.4") thickness, striking a balance between increased heatsink capacity and maintaining airflow. The design includes an improved filler cap placement directly on the tank for faster filling and a more integrated look, especially on MSM models, along with an honest drain for easier servicing. Modifications to stock fan shrouding are necessary if not using an optional Airflow Kit. A crossflow-specific upper radiator hose is required if not using the FM coolant reroute kit. Important fitment notes: this radiator does NOT fit with a TDR intercooler on a supercharger. It may not fit with all intake systems; confirm compatibility by calling. It does not have a built-in transmission cooler, making it unsuitable for automatic transmission cars unless a separate cooler is installed. NB cars require an upper bracket kit, and if using stock fans, an NB fan bracket kit is also needed.
