Description

This kit provides enhanced stopping power for both front and rear wheels. For the front, the kit includes oversized four-piston calipers complete with brake pads, wear sensors, and all necessary hardware. It also features dimpled, slotted, and vented rotors measuring 370x30mm, along with rotor shield protection plates to help dissipate heat and protect components. The rear of the vehicle benefits from oversized two-piston calipers, also supplied with pads, wear sensors, and hardware, as well as rotor shield protection plates. It is important to note that this kit does not include rear brake rotors. Compatible rear rotors with specific dimensions (345x24mm) are available separately, either dimpled and slotted or blank. Installation of this kit requires careful consideration of rear rotor compatibility. Vehicles using a smaller rear wheel carrier/wheel bearing (42x75x37mm) and a 166mm parking brake backing plate will need larger rear backing plates, which may not be pre-equipped on all models. Additionally, after installation, the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) system will need to be coded for M Sport Brakes (S2NHA) to ensure proper brake bias and function. The BMW M Performance sports brake system is also only approved for use with at least 18" aluminum wheels.
