Overview

The 034Motorsport 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade is a complete replacement kit designed to work with factory front calipers. It increases rotor diameter from 357mm to 375mm and reduces rotational weight. The rotors feature 72 directionally curved vanes for cooling and J-slot slots to release gas and clean the pad surface.

The central hat is constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the disc is made from a proprietary CM-250 alloy. The floating mount system uses high-strength alloy steel bobbins for expansion and contraction. The kit includes caliper carrier conversion brackets and is available in blue for the MK8 Golf R and red for the Audi 8Y S3.

The 034Motorsport 375x34mm 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade is a complete replacement rotor and caliper carrier kit designed for the MK8 Golf R and Audi 8Y S3. This upgrade significantly enhances braking performance for street, track, and HDPE driving by increasing rotor diameter to 375mm (from 357mm factory) and reducing weight by 1.3lbs per corner, with each rotor weighing approximately 26.0lbs. The two-piece floating design features aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum hats and proprietary CM-250 alloy rotor rings capable of withstanding high temperatures. The J-Slot slotted friction face aids in pad cleaning and gas release, while 72 directionally curved vanes promote superior airflow for effective heat dissipation. The floating mount system utilizes high-strength alloy steel bobbins to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction. Installation effort is rated as medium, with NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels described as none to low, though this can be influenced by the brake pads used. The kit includes the 375x34mm rotor pair and caliper carrier conversion brackets, available in red or blue. While designed to fit under most 18" wheel designs and OE wheels, an important note advises that 18" wheels are a tight fit, and users should always confirm clearance between the caliper/bracket and wheel before driving, avoiding any modifications to achieve fitment.
