The Super Swamper Radial TSL/SSR (SSR) is the second generation of the Super Swamper Radial/TSL, offering superior traction and an aggressive aesthetic for off-road enthusiasts. It features a slightly tighter version of the distinctive Super Swamper TSL chevron tread pattern, siping for enhanced wet pavement traction and icy conditions, and improved sidewall protection with a unique sidewall design for added traction. This design also contributes to a quieter on-road ride compared to other mud-terrain tires. The TSL (three-stage lug) design incorporates massive short, intermediate, and long lugs, uniquely arranged and spaced for quick biting and rapid self-cleaning. SSRs are DOT-approved for off-road use and provide surprisingly smooth on-road performance. They are available in over 40 popular wheel size and width combinations, including OEM and OEM Plus sizes for Jeeps, Sport Utility Vehicles, and 4 Wheel Drive light trucks, making them suitable for owners who prefer not to modify their vehicles with lifts.
