3800 Cold Air Intake

The ZZPerformance 3800 Cold Air Intake is engineered to enhance performance for 3800 Series II and III engines found in WBody vehicles like the Grand Prix, Regal, Intrigue, Monte Carlo, and Impala. This system features an air box with a lid, an intake duct that can be rotated to accommodate different throttle body setups, a dedicated PCM tray, and a 4-inch diameter heat-shielded tube. The kit also includes three hose clamps and a ZZP 4-inch inlet 9-inch cone filter. Specific fitment details vary by engine series. For Series II applications, this intake fits '98-'03 Grand Prix, '97+ Regal/Intrigue, and '00+ Monte Carlo/Impala models, with or without an intercooler. For Series III engines, it fits '04+ Grand Prix. However, Series III applications with an intercooler or LQ4 MAF sensor require ZZP's version 2 throttle body turn-down adapter, sold separately. Series III intakes utilize couplers and do not include a separate intake tube. Installation notes: If you are installing this on a 1997 model year vehicle, a coolant tank from a 1999 model year is necessary for the cold air intake box to fit correctly. This intake does not fit HBody, Bonneville, Park Avenue, or LaSabre models. Replacement quarter-turn fasteners are available separately. Digital installation instructions are available for download.
