The ZZP 3800 Rear Sway Bar V2 represents a significant upgrade for W-Body vehicles seeking to maximize their handling potential. Featuring a substantial 25mm solid diameter, this sway bar is engineered to be the ultimate component for improving cornering capabilities, especially when used in conjunction with a ZZPerformance solid front sway bar. Sway bars function by distributing forces evenly across the vehicle from left to right, aiming to keep the car level during turns and minimize lean. While factory sway bars are adequate for stock setups, they become insufficient once performance-oriented modifications are made. The larger, stiffer diameter of the ZZP 3800 Rear Sway Bar V2 significantly enhances the car's ability to grip the road, drastically improving overall handling performance. ZZPerformance now offers the 3800 rear sway bar in two sizes: the V2, with a 25mm solid diameter for maximum handling, and the V1, with an 18mm solid diameter, which still offers an upgrade over stock and comparable performance to the GMPP rear bar. This V2 bar is specifically noted as being a step stiffer than the 18.5mm HOLLOW GMPP rear bar. This sway bar is designed for a range of GM W-Body vehicles, including the 1997-2003 and 2004-Current Grand Prix, 1997.5-2005 Regal, 2000-2015 Impala, and 2000-Current Monte Carlo. The package includes the sway bar itself and rubber bushings for installation.
