The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your vehicle, specifically designed for the front of Audi B9 A4 models. The kit features a substantial 380mm x 32mm two-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The SuperComp caliper itself is a highlight, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum for extreme lightness (just over 7 lbs each) and rigidity. It boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper stiffness over OEM components, while the included stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. This kit offers choices for rotor style, with cross-drilled rotors recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, and slotted rotors ideal for track use. It comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, featuring ceramic material for optimal street performance and reduced dust and noise. An optional upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, is available for those seeking maximum stopping power in extreme track conditions; these are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature.
