380mm x 32mm Big Brake Kit

This front brake system features massive 380mm diameter, 32mm width rotors, designed to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper itself is a highlight, forged from aircraft-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum for extreme lightweight performance (just over 7lbs each). It boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates for improved durability and performance. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines minimize expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles for cooler operation, and slotted rotors, advised for more track-focused applications. The SuperComp systems come standard with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to OEM caliper locations and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, operating effectively between 194°F – 1022°F. For those seeking maximum stopping power under extreme track conditions, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available as an optional upgrade, though they are not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperature range of 482°F – 1472°F.
