The Eagle Specialty Products 13054030 is a Street & Strip Rotating Assembly kit engineered for Small Block Chevy engines, creating a 383 cubic inch displacement. This kit is ideal for pump gas, naturally aspirated, and street vehicle applications. The assembly features a cast steel crankshaft with a 3.750-inch stroke and a 4.030-inch bore, providing improved strength over cast iron. It includes hypereutectic KB pistons with a -18cc D-cup dish, designed to achieve a 9.9:1 compression ratio with a 4.030-inch bore. The kit is equipped with 5.700-inch forged 5140 steel I-beam connecting rods that utilize 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts. Plasma-moly standard gap rings and King SI rod/main bearings are also included, along with full floating piston pins and silicon-bronze rod bushings for low friction and easy assembly. Minor clearancing of the engine block at the pan rails is required for installation. Additionally, this assembly must be balanced by a qualified machine shop before use.
