The Blueprint Engines BP38318CTC1D is a 383 cubic inch small block GM-style crate engine. It is designed to produce 436 horsepower and 443 ft-lbs of torque. This engine features aluminum cylinder heads, a hydraulic roller camshaft, and hypereutectic pistons.

The Blueprint Engines BP38318CTC1D is a fully dressed, carbureted 383 cubic inch crate engine for GM small block applications. This engine is dyno-tested at the factory, delivering 436 horsepower and 443 ft-lbs of torque. Key components include BluePrint Engines aluminum heads with 64cc chambers and 2.02" intake valves, a hydraulic roller camshaft with .544" intake/.555" exhaust lift and 230°/236° duration at .050", and hypereutectic pistons. The rotating assembly features a cast crankshaft with a 3.750" stroke and OEM-type 5.700" connecting rods, and the engine is externally balanced front and rear. This build includes a Holley 750cfm vacuum secondary carburetor with a manual choke, a dual-plane satin aluminum intake manifold, a water pump, HEI distributor, spark plugs and wires, timing cover, oil pan, and harmonic balancer. This engine is not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles. Additionally, it will not clear a stock Corvette hood; please call for special build options. The performance aluminum cylinder heads feature a .500" raised port compared to OEM heads. A comprehensive, dyno-generated printout showing critical specifications will accompany the delivered engine.
