It features 3M Re-Engineered Precision Shaped Grain technology, which allows the abrasive to fracture continuously into sharp points, enabling faster cutting, cooler operation, and a longer lifespan compared to conventional abrasives.

This grinding wheel is specially formulated for use on stainless steel, mild steel, and aerospace alloys, but is also effective on almost all materials. Its depressed center design allows for grinding at various angles. The wheel is engineered for enhanced speed, offering up to a 15% increased cut rate and removing up to 1.5 times more material than 3M Cubitron II Performance Abrasives, leading to fewer changeovers and reduced time and pressure requirements.
