The Mopar Performance Direct Connection 392 Crate HEMI Long Block Engine offers a significant performance upgrade for compatible vehicles. Key components included in this long block assembly are the cylinder head with valvetrain, engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, piston and ring, camshaft, and lifters. The engine features a 392 cubic inch displacement, a 103.9 mm bore, and a 94.6 mm stroke. It is constructed with a cast iron block with 4-bolt powder metal caps, a forged steel crank, and powdered metal, floating pin connecting rods. The cylinder heads are 319 aluminum with HEMIspherical combustion chambers, and the intake valve size is 54.3 mm with an exhaust valve size of 42 mm. The compression ratio is 10.9:1, and it is recommended to use premium fuel. This crate engine is capable of producing up to 485 hp and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, though these numbers are for reference as it is not sold as a complete drop-in swap.
