The Remflex 8002 is a high-temperature exhaust gasket made from 100% flexible graphite, designed to provide a leak-free seal for header collector flanges. This material has been successfully used in industrial applications with temperatures exceeding 2,000°F for over three decades. The gasket is 1/8" thick and designed to crush 50% when tightened, creating a tight seal even on warped or pitted flanges. A key feature is its 30% rebound capability, which eliminates the need for re-torquing after installation. This gasket is rated to withstand temperatures up to 3,000°F and is reusable.
