The Anderson Composites Type-OE Hood offers a premium upgrade for your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro LS and LT models. Crafted with superior craftsmanship and over 20 years of experience in carbon fiber, this hood is meticulously inspected for quality and durability. It is constructed using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, ensuring high product stiffness and extra strength. The surface features a marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors, polished to a high luster finish. The hand-crafted hood weighs approximately 23.2 lbs. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills, and minor adjustments may be necessary for proper fitment. The hood mounts using original equipment hardware, which is not included. It is crucial to note that the OE hood strut mount is for temporary use during maintenance only. Furthermore, all composite hoods require hood pins for safety, and a heat shield is necessary.
