The 3M Wrap Film Series 2080, specifically the CFS12 Carbon Fiber Black, is a multi-layer, dual-cast adhesive-backed film engineered for vehicle wraps, accents, and partial decoration. This series offers improved conformability and cold stretch compared to the previous 3M Wrap Film Series 1080. The film boasts excellent resistance to lifting and is ready for application straight out of the box, eliminating the need for an overlaminate or additional graphic protection. Measuring 3.5 mil thick, this vinyl wrap features a textured black carbon fiber finish that provides the genuine look of woven graphite. Its 60-inch wide roll is designed to minimize seams on any vehicle, facilitating a cleaner and more professional installation. The wrap is suitable for a wide range of applications, including full or partial coverage on hoods, roofs, trunks, doors, fenders, bumpers, side mirrors, and interior trim. It conforms to various surface types, from flat and simple curves to complex compound curves, corrugations, and deep channels.
